Flight-seeing options available
In Lake Minchumina, you can explore our spectacular surroundings up close and personal, by canoe, boat, and hiking trail (and in winter, by dog sled). Flight-seeing is not included. However, you could make arrangements for flight-seeing adventures (weather permitting) out of nearby Kantishna, which can offer you access to more of the best of interior Alaska: Mt. McKinley, alpine tundra, spectacular mountain lakes below the high peaks, Wild and Scenic Rivers, traditional Native villages and the mighty Yukon River itself.
